San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced Friday that the team has acquired center Patrick White and defenseman Daniel Rahimi from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for defensemen Christian Ehrhoff and Brad Lukowich.

Just got word that the Sharks will be making news today, probably sometime within the next hour. It was characterized as “significant, but not major,” though personally I’m not sure where to draw that line.
I can tell you this: It is NOT the Patrick Marleau-to-LA-for-Frolov story mentioned elsewhere on the web. That much I can confirm.
