Maybe it was just the fight fan in me but when I heard this guy broadcasting games via XM Radio I always found him to be good. What do the Ducks fans think of this?

A former Ducks player, Severyn had completed his fourth season with the club despite commuting from his Dallas residence to broadcast games.
Aaron Teats, director of broadcasting, met with Severyn at the end of last season and said “it was probably in the best interest of everybody to go in a different direction.”
Teats said there are a few candidates lined up to replace Severyn in the radio booth beside play-by-play announcer Steve Carroll.
Severyn did not immediately return a message left on his cell phone.
